Boise Idaho Photographer: That Moment When

Oh the things we create as artists. When perusing a Fine Art Degree, you find yourself taking every aspect of your life and turning it into a body of work. This is from this spring which I neglected to share till now.

“I’m standing in the middle of a crowded room, screaming at the top of my lungs, and no one looks up.”

This is the statement that has come to my mind numerous times in the last few months. After several unexpected events that have changed my perspective on my life, I realized that in those moments it felt as if the chaos around me had frozen me in time. It’s left me waiting for something to happen or someone to show up. Mean while the world still rushed by. It was this odd realization that inspired me to create my interpretation of Still Life's that represent moments.

This series is of “that moments when” you find yourself frozen. Whether it is from the chaos of life, absorbed in something you love, or the moment when you’re captivated by a kiss. There are no details as to what the moments are that are represented because each of us sees different things through our life experiences or current state of mind. It is for you to interpret on your own.
